Book Review: Outliers

I just finished reading Outliers, by Malcolm Gladwell – and it was probably one of the most interesting things I’ve read lately.

It’s about success, but not in the way you’d expect. It’s not a “how to be successful” guide. It’s an exploration of all the factors that go into being successful (or not) – many of which are ones you’d never think of.

Each chapter is about a different topic – everything from software billionaires, to plane crashes, to professional hockey players, to the correlation between Asian students and math, to Jewish lawyers, and more. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy learning and want to see the world in a totally new way.

What’s the most interesting book you’ve read recently? x
